our friend, and fellow Athenian, Hugh Acheson came out with his second cookbook in may of this year (and, a disclaimer: I was happy to again help him with the photographs for it). titled The Broad Fork, this book is aimed at guiding you through the seasonal bounty of ingredients anytime of the year: fall, winter, spring, & summer.
the cookbook has been on our counter a lot the last month as we have cooked our way through our backyard garden patch and the farmer's market. another great thing about the cookbook is that it has a range of recipes, with easy ones as well as more advanced recipes, which makes it a good cookbook for just about anyone.
